Devoted Wedding In The Abbey Of San Pietro
An impressive historic chapel, a perfectly green landscape and a surprise from their two children – Elisa and Alessandro had the wedding of their dreams at the Abbey of San Pietro. Using the location as the focal point, the couple perfectly added romantic details, such as a soft color palette, beautiful floral arrangements from Sartoria Floreale and timeless table decor.
They were surrounded by family and friends and took their two children to the ceremony and — believe us-it’s really cute. We are happy to share this absolutely romantic and devoted wedding captured by Junebug members Andrea & Federica. Keep scrolling to get the Italian inspiration you were looking for. Adiamo!
Why the Abbey of San Pietro?
The Abbey of San Pietro in Valle in Ferentillo has a special place in my heart. I went there as a child with my parents and it represents authentic Umbria-a gem in the mountains. For us it was the perfect place for the kind of wedding we had planned. After he proposed to me, I called first to find the available dates.
Wedding planning Tips
During the planning process, we are guided by emotions. We were lucky enough to meet great people along the way. I believe that the organization of the wedding is part of the wedding itself. The best advice is to enjoy every Moment. Not everything will turn out perfectly, but it will be perfect.
Perfect romantic wedding colors
We choose our colors with the floral designer Sartoria Floreale. Romina is located in the heart of Spoleto and from the first meeting we immediately felt in harmony. We met in the middle of their store, immersed in the colors and scents of flowers and essential oils. At the end of the meeting we agreed on the idea of using Cipria pink, purple, white, butter, sage green with a very light touch of Burgundy. Then we added Dark Iron in the materials and glass to create a dreamy color palette!
Shopping for wedding dresses
When I saw my wedding dress, it was love at first sight. It was the first one I tried. Simple but elegant fabric with a tight-fitting cut. It was more like a white evening dress-I felt like a real princess. Inspired by one of my icons, Charlotte of Monaco, I added a necklace for the reception.
